* LGIF (10/03/22): $1,246.71

* Total Funds: $1,525.25

 

*US Bank balloon payment made in Jan 2023

*Amanda now Madam Secretary (All Stand)

OLD BUSINESS

* Policy handbook update - completed

* Amanda – SDIS Best Practices Program homework – Cybersecurity webinar

* Work crew to trim and do minor road maintenance to be determined

* U.S. Census letter: Rick tried to initiate an account to report our census information without success.  Amanda will try next.  She was unable to do this in August. Amanda managed to get into the portal and complete the census questionnaire today – 10-26-2022!  

* Safety & Security Grant of $5,000 to be reviewed by Amanda.  Possibility of cam for mailboxes.  Completed by Amanda

 

 

NEW BUSINESS

* Annual Property Assessment from County = $9,369,100 Property value

* $5,621.48 revenue check to be received based on assessments.

* SDAO Membership Dues bill received.  Check for $140 prepared and signed by Rick & Amanda

* Discussion and decision to discontinue the Silver Sands Blog due to lack of interest.

* 2022 Best Practices: Board Duties & Responsibilities policy – Rick is developing

* Amanda – SDIS Best Practices Program homework – Cybersecurity webinar

* Work crew to trim and do minor road maintenance to be determined

* Confirmed with County Planning that the south end of Sandy Road is part of the road district.  The ‘vacation’ was annulled in 2002. 

* U.S. Census letter: Rick tried to initiate an account to report our census information without success.  Amanda will try next.  She was unable to do this in August.
