APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MONTH MINUTES

* July Minutes approved and will be posted on blog.

FINANCIAL BALANCES

* Columbia Bank Checking (7/31): $256.71

* LGIF (8/15): $2,574.35

* Total Funds: $2831.06

* Upcoming check payments

               - Check for SDAO Membership of $135 coming-up

               - Check to Secretary of State coming-up.  Estimated to be $20

               - Check to Oregon Ethics Committee coming-up.  Estimated to be $43

 

OLD BUSINESS

* 2% Additional credit on insurance for Cyber Security policy written by Rick. Six pages.

* Parking – The Road District will not determine parking policies in the neighborhood.

* Transferred $200 from LGIF to Checking for payment of upcoming bills

               - Check for SDAO Membership of $135 coming-up

* Budget Meeting was held on 6/13 at 5pm.  Neighbor & Silver Sands Road District MAL Amanda Williams attended.

* Check for mid-year interest payment for @$262.50

 

OLD BUSINESS

* U.S. Census Form was blatantly ignored by the Secretary and not sent-in by due date of April 1^st

   - It was optional (and it was given to the Secretary on April 18^th)

* Cyber Security Training to be taken by MAL on May 19 or May 26

* Rick is on top of the details of the budget.

 

NEW BUSINESS

* Rick to write a cyber-security policy

* Public Notice of Road District Budget Meeting posted on the Silver Sands bulletin Board by Rick on 5-13-21

* Bill purchased “No Parking Signs” and “No Public Access” signs to be placed at the boardwalk to the beach

   In light of Driftwood Beach shutting down for a year and the anticipated influx of beachgoers looking for access. 

 

MEMBER-AT-LARGE REPORT 

* Bill made a nice K9 waste dispenser at the top of Sarkisian to replace the damaged one.

* Giant RV is back at the beginning of Sarkisian.  Discussion about if this violates zoning as well as covenants.

* Walking inspection of neighborhood conducted.  A few spots on Powe need to be sealed and/or patched this year if possible.  

NEW BUSINESS

* 2021 Governments Units Survey, Census of Governments received.  Debate on completing this optional form.  Form in possession of Secretary.

* Budget documents for 2022 prepared by Rick and will be posted on the bulletin board at entrance of neighborhood in May

* Amanda will do a webinar on cyber-security.  Rick will develop and publish our cyber-security policy.

* Report on her Stump Ranch east of the neighborhood.
